2012 shaping up to be good year for corn and soybeans in Midwest

The skies were overcast at this year's World Pork Expo in Des Moines, Iowa. But those clouds may have a silver lining for hog and cattle producers. Iowa State University's Elwynn Taylor told World Pork Expo attendees that the 2012 corn and soybean crops are off to a good start. Taylor said it will be late July, however, before the markets get a better idea of where the crops are headed.
