Squealers Barbecue Tours The Midwest This Summer

Indiana Pork is partnering with Squealers Award Winning Barbeque for this summer's Barbeque Competition Tour. The 12 weekend tour spans the Midwest and features some of the finest barbecue chefs in the nation.

“We are excited about this partnership. Squealers is a great Indiana company and we're happy to support their efforts to serve more pork,” says Sarah Ford of Indiana Pork.

While touring, Squealers utilizes a custom, 30-ft. enclosed trailer with massive smoking capabilities and full refrigeration. With competitions spanning more than a decade, Squealers has achieved more than 65 awards at assorted national barbeque, world barbeque and Ribfest events throughout the United States. In 2011, Squealers was invited to the prestigious American Royal and Jack Daniels barbeque competitions.

“We love to hit the road to spread the word about our brand and bring our secret barbeque to the masses. We thank Indiana's pork farmers for their support – this is a great partnership for us,” says owner Jeff Yater.

As a sponsor, Indiana Pork will be featured on the traveling trailer and competition t-shirts and hats. Squealers also operates two dine-in barbeque restaurants, one in Indianapolis and the other in Mooresville, IN.  As part of the partnership, Indiana Pork will be featured on restaurant menus and table signage.

Indiana Pork is a not-for-profit association representing Indiana's 3,000 family pork farmers through the pork checkoff program.  Learn more at www.indianapork.com.
