Held in conjunction with the 2012 Saskatchewan Pork Industry Symposium, Prairie Swine Centre has assembled a special program highlighting the impact of 20 years of research on the Canadian pork industry.
The program on Nov. 14, 2012 at the Saskatoon Inn, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan features the original team of research scientists that established Prairie Centre’s near-market and industry focus in 1992.
The program addresses changes in technology that have impacted all of the participants in the pork value chain, specifically areas affecting cost of production, environment, welfare and product quality.
