How the U.S. pork industry can be accountable to customer desires, and do so in a sustainable manner while building trust, will be a key issue for Pork Act delegates at the National Pork Industry Forum, March 1-3 in Anaheim, CA.

Delegates will review activities related to the pork checkoff, including the rate of the checkoff and the amount of checkoff revenue distributed to state producer associations for checkoff-funded programs.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture appointed 154 pork producers and eight importers to the National Pork Producers Delegate Body for 2006.
