Farmland Foods Adds Center

Farmland Foods is acquiring and expanding a distribution center next to its Crete, NE, pork processing facility that will add 120 jobs. The $19 million facility will serve as the western distribution center for the entire Farmland Foods system. The plant has 1,872 workers producing fresh pork, hams, bacon and sausage.
