Thirteen states will receive $8.5 million in additional Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP) cost-share funding to meet state and federal conservation regulations.
The funds are to be used for Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans, says the National Pork Producers Council.
Funded are: Arkansas, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
