Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health has announced its educational seminars for June 8 at World Pork Expo. The seminars run from 10 a.m. to noon at the Varied Industries Building, Room B, Iowa State Fairgrounds, Des Moines, IA.

The four seminars scheduled are as follows:
10-10:25 a.m.: Slaughter evaluations of pigs immunized against porcine circovirus type 2 and Mycoplasma pneumonia, Charlie Francisco, DVM, director of Technical Services, Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health.

10:25-10:50 a.m.: Field evaluation of the effects of porcine circovirus type 2 on finishing pig growth performance, Brad Thacker, DVM, senior Technical Services specialist, Intervet/Schering Plough Animal Health.

10:50-11:15 a.m.: The impact of two-dose porcine circovirus type 2 vaccination on the performance of high-health pigs, Brad Thacker, DVM, senior Technical Services specialist, Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health.

11:15-11:40 a.m.: Circumvent PCV M: A new tool for combination porcine circovirus type 2 and Mycoplasma pneumonia vaccination, Rich Schlueter, DVM, senior Technical Services specialist, Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health.

11:40 a.m.-noon: Questions and answers.
