Purdue University is hosting the broadcast of a video workshop at 6:30 p.m. EST, Feb. 10, across sites in Indiana on “Complying with the New CAFO Rule.”

Producers who want to learn more about rules regulating confined animal feeding operations (CAFOs) should call their county Extension office for the nearest site.

The program will update listeners on the CAFO rule, requirements for nutrient management plans and manure applications, soil conservation practice plans and storm water pollution prevention plans.

For more information contact Alan Sutton, Purdue Extension nutrient management specialist at (765) 494-8012 or by e-mail at asutton@purdue.edu.
