Providing information about ISO 14001 and its ability to meet or exceed environmental regulations while maximizing farmers’ profits is the focus of “Farming and the Environment (FATE) 2005,” Jan. 18-19 in Los Angeles, CA.

Researchers, regulators, agricultural businessmen and farmers will discuss certification, application and strategic advantages that ISO 14001 offers.

FATE organizers believe that ISO 14001 has the potential to resolve environmental issues that over 10,000 confined animal feeding operations face in complying with regulations before 2006.
