The favorite pork recipes of pork producers are being shared during October Pork Month.

The recipe booklet, Farm Table to Family Table, shares recipes and the stories behind them. Many of the recipes have been passed down through generations. Many have become mealtime traditions.

Margaret Ledger of Washington, IA, even shared her pork specialty, a dish she personally prepared to celebrate her youngest daughter’s wedding reception.

The recipe booklet and all the recipes are available electronically on the Internet at and can be mailed to pork producers who call the Pork Checkoff Service Center, 800-456-7675.
