USDA-USTR accepting Trade Advisory Committee nominations

USDA and the U.S. Trade Representative announced that they were renewing the charters and accepting nominations for new members to serve on the agricultural trade advisory committees. The Agricultural Policy Advisory Committee members advise the USDA and USTR on existing trade agreements, negotiating objectives of new agreements and other trade issues. The Agricultural Technical Advisory Committees members represent specific commodity sectors and provide technical advice and guidance on trade issues.

The six ATACs are animals and animal products; fruits and vegetables; grains, feed, oilseeds and planting seeds; process foods; sweeteners and sweetener products; and tobacco, cotton and peanuts. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. on April 20. For additional information, email [email protected].
