U.S. to Resume Japanese Beef Imports

Starting this month, the United States will again be importing beef from Japan.  Imports were stopped in April 2010 after the discovery of foot-and-mouth disease in Japanese cattle.  Japan exported $13.4 million worth of beef to the United States in 2007.
