Northbrook, IL — Lucta USA is undertaking a restructuring of their business model that will consolidate global manufacturing and improve customer service. The centerpiece of the restructuring is a shift of our U.S. business to a streamlined warehouse model, eliminating product manufacturing for the time being until a new facility is built.
Two critical factors are driving this shift: outdated Northbrook facilities that would be costly to update and additional manufacturing capacity in Spain due to new plant operations.
The restructuring is scheduled to be completed by the end of May 2009 and is designed to improve the service and quality of the products delivered to our customers.
Lucta is a manufacturer of food flavors, fragrances for air care and household cleaning products, and specialty additives for animal feed. The company is headquartered in Barcelona with locations in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
