Swine AI Workshop Offered

The University of Minnesota Southern Research and Outreach Center at Waseca, MN, will hold a swine artificial insemination (AI) workshop Dec. 1-2.

This intensive workshop provides students an increased understanding of the tools to successfully breed females using modern AI techniques.

Topics include anatomy and physiology, heat detection and breeding, intrauterine insemination, sow nutrition, semen handling and reproductive problem-solving.

Cost is $100 and includes all materials and lunches. To register, contact the Minnesota Pork Board at (507) 345-8814.
