Winter Swine Meetings

The Ohio State University winter meeting series offer pork producers a new meeting format, combining teleconferences and local programming, to deliver timely topics near to producers’ operations.

The three programs are offered in several counties and include lunch and sponsor recognition.

The Dec. 6 program features a talk on fly control 365 days of the year and the economics of manure application.

The program Jan. 11, 2006 features Pork Quality Assurance Level III certification and controlling variation in finisher growth rate.

The March 15 program features ventilation management, discussion of antibiotic alternatives and Pork Quality Assurance Level III certification.
