Swine Summer Institute at Minnesota
The University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine has formed the Minnesota Swine Summer Institute, a swine education initiative for veterinary students and DVM graduates seeking advanced skills in swine health and production.
The program includes a series of three, intensive, two-week courses to run six consecutive weeks from July 31-Sept. 10, 2006. Instructors for the three courses will be faculty of the University of Minnesota swine division and Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, plus invited experts and leading swine practitioners.
The curriculum includes these courses:
- Introduction to Swine Health and Production;
- Principles of Population-Based Diagnostics and Therapeutics; and
- Advanced Swine Health and Production.
