Today (Jan. 21) is the last day to pre-register for the Ohio Pork Congress, Feb. 8-9, 2011 at the Crown Plaza North in Columbus, OH.
The program Feb. 8 includes the Ohio Pork Producers Council annual meeting luncheon and the council’s annual meeting.
On Feb. 9 is the 2011 Professional Pork Producers Symposium. The program includes reports on PRRS control projects with Noel Garbes, DVM, Bethany Animal Hospital and updates on the Ohio Livestock Care Standards Board led by State Veterinarian Tony Forshey.
Other topics focus on activists targeting farms, building maintenance issues, farrowing house management and finishing barn issues.
