Kansas State Schedules Swine Industry Day

The 2009 Kansas State University (KSU) Swine Industry Day is slated for Nov. 19 at the KSU Alumni Center.
The program features an expert panel, coordinated by Steve Henry, DVM, Abilene (KS) Animal Hospital, on the “Impact of the H1N1 Virus on the Global Swine Industry.”
Presenting an “Update on the State of Ag Lending for a Swine Business” is Kent Bang, Bank of the West, Omaha, NE.
The KSU Swine Team will provide an “Update on Current KSU Swine Research to Help Improve the Net Return of a Swine Business,” which will be part of the morning and afternoon sessions.
The program concludes with an ice cream reception.
