The theme for this year’s National Pork Industry Forum to be held March 4-6 at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center in Kansas City, MO, is “Leading a World-Class Food Industry – Responsible. Sustainable. Professional. Profitable.”

That theme also embodies the vision statement drafted by a group of pork producers who advised the National Pork Board on the development of a new five-year strategic plan.

The 15 producers who serve as members of the National Pork Board will also review direction provided by the deliberations of the Pork Act delegates. The delegates provide state views on the important issues facing pork producers and the pork industry, and offer comments on how they would like to see the Pork Checkoff dollars invested.
