EPA Grants Sign Up Extension

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has extended the Air Emissions Consent Agreement deadlines to allow more time for public comment and participation.

The comment period will be reopened from April 1 to May 2, 2005. Deadline for producer sign up has been extended to July 1, 2005.

The National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) encourages all producers to participate. For more information on the agreement, go to NPPC’s Web site at http://www.nppc.org/hot_topics/airemissions.html. Send questions to airemissions@nppc.org.
