Manure Expo heading to Chambersburg, Pa.

The North American Manure Expo is slated for July 14-15 at Lesher’s Poultry Farm near Chambersburg, Pa.

July 14 will be tour day, with a lineup of four separate tours planned for participants – Dairy and Agitation Tour, Agitation (afternoon session only), Poultry Tour and Equine and Small Beef Farm Tour. Each of the tours will be leaving from the Manure Expo site, with registration beginning at 7:45 a.m. and buses leaving at 8:15 a.m. Buses return around 5:15 p.m. Admission to the tours is free, but registration is requested to reserve a spot.

A trade show will run both days of the Expo; 5-8:30 p.m. July 14, and 7:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. July 15. A number of educational sessions and demonstrations will take place July 15.

The North American Manure Expo, first held in 2001, brings together decision makers from the following industries:

  • Highly intensive livestock producers (dairy, beef, pork and poultry)

  • Custom manure applicators

  • Researchers, consultants and government agencies

Manure Expo is owned by The Professional Nutrients Applicators Association of Wisconsin.
