Clayton Vaughan Joins Feed Energy as Director of Strategic Account Management

Feed Energy recently welcomed Clayton Vaughan as its Director of Strategic Account Management. In this position, Vaughan will be working on establishing long-term supply and customer relationships.

 

Feed Energy recently welcomed Clayton Vaughan as its Director of Strategic Account Management. In this position, Vaughan will be working on establishing long-term supply and customer relationships.

Vaughan has 25 years of management experience in purchasing, sales and marketing. Most recently, Vaughan worked for POET Nutrition as the Director of Business Development. There he evaluated potential market demand, developed strategies to increase usage levels and selected distribution partners for Dakota Gold DDGS and Voila Corn Oil in North America and foreign markets. Prior to POET, he was in sales at ConAgra and a senior executive with Land O'Lakes focusing on micro feed ingredients. In addition, Vaughan has served industry associations as a co-chairman of the American Feed Industry Association’s Purchasing/Supplier Committee and as a delegate to the U.S. Grains Council’s Value-Added Team.

Feed Energy is an agribusiness firm primarily engaged in further refining vegetable oil as a high-energy, liquid feed ingredient. The company produces and distributes throughout the Midwest scientifically balanced ingredients specific to their customers' needs. Feed Energy's headquarters and original production facility have been in Des Moines for more than 25 years, with additional Iowa production facilities in Sioux City and Pacific Junction.
