Butler Machinery partners with Balzer, Inc.

N.D., S.D. - In a continued effort to provide customers with quality products and services, Butler Machinery is proud to announce it has partnered with Balzer, Inc. to offer a greater variety of agricultural equipment. Butler Machinery now offers Balzer Large Capacity Grain Carts throughout North and South Dakota, and are available in three sizes: 1325, 1550 and 2000 bushel capacity, which is an industry first and the largest capacity grain cart today capable of loading two semi trailers. Balzer Grain Carts feature the industry’s fastest unload rate of 1090 bushels per minute, patented steerable axle system, excellent flotation and an independent axle suspension capable of carrying massive loads in all kinds of field conditions. Additionally, Balzer Grain Carts feature a patented hydraulic clutch engagement-disengagement mechanism which allows the user to interrupt the flow of grain.

Balzer, Inc. of Mountain Lake, M.N., is the leading manufacturer and distributor of livestock manure and municipal waste handling equipment products, Large Capacity Grain Carts and Flail Shredders in the United States. The company also exports its quality products throughout the world. Balzer, Inc. was founded in the late 1940’s by Abe Balzer and operated on a regional basis manufacturing a variety of farm-related equipment products. Balzer was purchased in 1976 by an investor group from nearby Mankato, M.N. In 1995, Balzer was sold to a few management employees with a total of over 60 years experience in the industry. Today, Balzer is still a privately held corporation.
