World Pork Expo Offers Industry Updates, Fabulous Food

Who says there’s no such thing as a free lunch? There will be plenty of free food when you stop by the Pork Checkoff Hospitality Tent during the 2014 World Pork Expo (WPX), held June 4 to 7 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, IA.

The Pork Checkoff will serve lunch starting at noon on Wednesday, June 4, and Thursday, June 5.

Breakfast and bacon snacks also will be served daily at the Pork Checkoff Hospitality Tent, which will be located on the north side of the Varied Industries Building.

The Pork Checkoff Hospitality Tent will be the new location for the noon business luncheons which will feature Elwin Taylor, Iowa State University Extension climatologist, and Steve Meyer, president of Paragon Economics, who will present weather and market updates.
