Tell Candidates Where You Stand on Issues

Congress is in recess and will return to Washington with a full agenda after the Nov. 13 elections.  The biggest issue for agriculture is whether Congress will pass a five-year farm bill during the lame duck session.  Now is a good time to visit with your senators and congressmen as they return home to campaign for reelection.  Let them know what your position is on key issues facing the pork industry, including the 2012 Farm Bill, animal welfare, food safety, trade and renewable fuels.
