Sign-up for 2013 Farm Program

Sign-up for the 2013 farm program started on Feb. 19 and runs through Aug. 2 at local Farm Service Agency (FSA) offices.  Direct payments continue through the 2013 crop year as a result of the 2008 Farm Bill extension.  Eligible producers need to enroll in the Direct and Countercyclical Program (DCP) to receive 2013 direct payments. Payment rates and eligibility requirements for 2013 will remain the same as in 2012 and will be paid on 85% of the eligible crop base acres. Direct payments will be made in October 2013.  There will be no advance payments.
