Senate RFS Hearing

The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee has announced it plans to hold a subcommittee hearing on December 14 regarding “the status and effectiveness of federal policies that implement the federal renewable fuel standard (RFS) program.”

Representatives from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Energy (DOE) will testify for the administration.  The other witnesses will be: General Wesley Clark, co-chairman of Growth Energy; Jim Collins Jr. of DuPont; Charles Drevna, president of the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers; Jon Holzfaster, owner of Holzfaster Farm; Scott Faber, vice president of the Environmental Working Group; and Brooke Coleman, executive director of the Advanced Ethanol Coalition.
