Last week’s article on the expiration of the 2008 farm bill regarding the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) was misstated. SNAP is not permanent law. As long as Congress appropriates sufficient money for SNAP, it will continue to operate. Thanks to a reader for catching this.
