Brad Thacker, D.V.M., M.B.A., Ph.D., is a senior technical services veterinarian for Intervet. He assists producers and practitioners with product application and disease and production problems. He conducts field research to support product usage and marketing strategies, and presents product and reproductive management information to swine practitioners and producers. Currently, Dr. Thacker's primary focus is on swine respiratory and reproductive diseases and reproductive management.

Dr. Thacker received the Pfizer award for Research Excellence at Iowa State University in 1999 and the College of Agriculture Team Award, Alternative Swine Production Systems Team in 2002. He received his Pre-Vet and M.B.A. degrees from Iowa State University, and his B.S., D.V.M., M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. He resides in Huxley, Iowa.
